NEW RELEASE -- VIEWFORTH PRESS
"An English School" and "Regulus":
Two School Stories by Rudyard Kipling
Two of Kipling's short school stories are brought together for the first time in this Viewforth classics publication: "An English School" and "Regulus". The intention in publishing them together is to illustrate how Kipling's own life experiences at the United Services College coloured and shaped his subsequent schoolboy "Stalky" fiction stories. "Regulus" is chosen as the best example of Kipling's fictional writing in this genre.
Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936) was a British author and poet. He was the first British writer to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Introduction by Dr. Craig Paterson.
